Job Title - ServiceNow Developer

Location: London

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 3-6 Months

The capabilities you will have, or develop

  • Utilise our proven business change approach for implementing ServiceNow, you will use techniques like Agile/Scrum and Waterfall to understand the ServiceNow requirement and be able to work collaboratively with clients and other 3rd parties to deliver the requirement to enable the required business benefits.
  • You will be able to lead ServiceNow workshops and work streams as needed and work either on your own or within a larger programme team.
  • Ideally you will already have some exposure to Service Integration (or SIAM) and have advised on or implemented ServiceNow projects in a client setting.

The focus of your role

  • Predominately you will act as the design and implementation lead within a consulting or delivery structure for our clients. You will be expected to have excellent stakeholder management skills and be viewed as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the SI Consulting Practice.

What you will do

  • Design, configurations, customisations and implementations based upon the ServiceNow platform. e.g. Configuration Management, Portal, Release Management, …
  • Create integrations with other business management systems using APIs, web-services, SOAP, REST, MIDSERVER, Import Tables, etc.
  • Develop and implement automation and orchestration within ServiceNow
  • SME contact for overall ServiceNow design and functionality; have a very good understanding of how hardware, integrations, database and all other ServiceNow applications are related and dependency impacts of any changes or updates
  • Be familiar with ITIL process design and concepts

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing and supporting complex implementations in a large-scale enterprise (preferred) ServiceNow environment
  • 3+ years of proven software development background, including design, configuration, customisation and implementation based upon the ServiceNow platform, e.g. Configuration Management, Portal, Release Management, … utilising JavaScript and UX/UI Development methodologies
  • Design and development experience of core service management processes and reporting, aligned to the ServiceNow IT service management tool suite.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Software as a Service and associated benefits
  • ITIL Qualifications
  • ServiceNow Certifications
  • Knowledge of other IT service management tool suites, such as those provided by BMC, HP and IBM Tivoli.

The jobholder will be required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required commensurate with their grade and position in the Company.
