The Role

The Service Transition Manager is a customer facing role which manages the operation of the Transition policy. Manages the process to ensure the integration of products and services into the live environment. The main focus of this role is to enable the smooth transition of new services into the live environment, minimising impact and ensuring these are fit for purpose promoting strong customer satisfaction.

Duties Include:

  • Implement Transition procedures, promoting Transition with input for standard service and tiered support services opportunities
  • Engage with stakeholders, to ensure successful Transition new services are implemented.
  • Work independently to solve complex problems proposing solution to minimise disruption of the live service
  • Ensure completion of Customer Support Services Design and documentation to a high standard and in line with governance

Person Specification

  • ITIL V3 foundation qualified
  • Experience in Service Transition within large, complex organisations
  • Commercial awareness, working to a budget and seeking cost effective opportunities
  • Experience of working with a diverse range of products and services
  • Either holds current Security Clearance or willing / able to go through the process
