My Oxfordshire based client are currently recruiting for a IT Service Delivery Manager.

As an IT Service Delivery Manager your primary role will be to run the IT helpdesk function and oversee IT activities on site, providing support and giving advice to the Head of IT.


  • Involvement in various projects
  • Advanced technical support of IT systems for example, VMware ESXi/vSphere and enterprise data storage, Windows server/desktop
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to the site IT infrastructure and services
  • Liaison with 3rd party supporters (internal and external)
  • Managing IT budgets
  • Skills in Office 365 administrator would be beneficial.
  • Identifying and assessing customer's needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Representing IT at user and site management forums
  • Providing technical and team leadership to the IT Support team
  • Identifying and building relationships with key external stakeholders.

Skills required:

  • Windows Server 2008/2012 administration or Linux server administration
  • Windows 10 support knowledge
  • Proven ability of managing an IT Service Desk/Team helpdesk (Line management)
  • VMware ESX/vSphere skills
  • Enterprise/mid-range SAN data storage systems (CEH currently use IBM DS3500 and V3700 series under GPFS)
  • Security and antivirus skills (AV server management, endpoint management and WSUS)
  • Office 365 administration skills are desirable but not essential
