My Client a global provider of technologies and services that advance and accelerate the development and manufacture of therapeutics, are looking for a Digital E-Commerce specialist to join the team for an initial 6 month contract.

Job specification

The role focuses on the optimisation of product pages on our e-commerce platform to drive traffic and ultimately online sales. We have made significant progress with our web content over the past couple of years and have seen a positive increase in traffic and sales as a result. There is still more work to do:

  • Optimise meta descriptions, alt texts, page names and product and category descriptions on approx. 100 e-commerce product pages, working with the SEO Manager and agency if necessary
  • Review related documents on each product page and source and upload files for those that are missing
  • Conduct an audit of the existing product imagery and determine which images need to be re-taken due to branding changes. Organise necessary product imagery and upload.
  • Liaise with e-commerce and digital teams to establish and execute a creative and integrated plan to drive traffic to product pages e.g. special offers, trigger campaigns, penalisation, re-targeting and PPC
  • Oversee competitor and keyword analysis to inform the above activity.

Person specification

We're looking for a digital and SEO expert who can power our product pages and digital e-commerce presence! So, if you are an IT addict, or great at creating effective online solutions, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for an experienced hands-on digital, creative wizard who is action oriented, can think strategically and who has a passion for tactical and detailed e-commerce marketing execution and web optimisation.

Our ideal candidate would have experience in a similar role and be comfortable working independently / remotely.
