SENIOR UI/MOTION DESIGNER

We are looking for a number of senior UI and motion designers to join our multi-disciplinary team, to work on professional financial & risk platforms, products and services across web, desktop and mobile.
We shape sophisticated financial data into strategies, tools and experiences that our customers need and value. Our users demand real-time content and tools so that they can do their job efficiently. Refinitiv provides the products and services in the form of interactive data visualisations, experiences, language and workflows, bringing everything together within a unified framework for our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside a Design Lead and other members of their design stream, following lean and agile product design methodologies
- Build design material in the form of both sketched concepts to pixel-perfect motion designs at all stages of the product lifecycle (discovery, define and build) and demonstrate planning for activities to ensure delivery
- Develop a deep understanding of our users, their needs, behaviours, desires, and bring that insight into the heart of all designs
- Work on issues of a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry trends
- Lead significant projects, programs and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity
- Determine work priorities based on general direction from managers
- Provide specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues
About you
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role and able to show evidence of how brand affects the approach to product design
- Passion for a clean and purposeful design
- The ability to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows, prototypes and ultimately into beautiful, intuitive and functional user interfaces and motion designs
- Comfortable with embracing our Halo design system in everything you do, both using and contributing to its evolution and ideally have experience defining UI components, motion and design patterns
- Strong design, collaboration and communication skills with evidence of leadership as a senior designer and also able to contribute at a team level
Education/Qualifications
- A degree in an art or visual design-related subject, or can show how you've built up your experience and skills over time 'on-the-job'
- Knowledge of professional financial design is a bonus, but you will be able to demonstrate hands-on experience of crafting successful user experiences that met business and user needs for complex domains
