Senior Systems Specialist - Automation & Cloud - SCCM 2016 - DevOps

Extensive experience and ability to design, develop and deploy automated solutions within the Microsoft OS, SCCM 2016, Azure, Automation, Monitoring and APIS, PowerShell, DevOps, Windows Server 2012 to 2016, Active Directory, MS Cloud, Office 365.

To £65,000 + Excellent Benefits Package + Bonus + Shares + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

37.5 Hour Week - Monday to Friday - 8:30am till 5pm

Due to growth and an enviable 5-year business plan commencing this year, this client is an established and dynamic financial services organisation who are inviting Automation and Cloud Systems Specialists to their casting couch asap.

This post is a brand-new career opportunity and you will need to be a professional, challenge orientated and focused Automation and Cloud Specialist.

  • You will need previous experience in the automation, orchestration, infrastructure as well as code and agile methodologies.
  • You will drive automation and will have a range of technical expertise working across multiple disciplines.
  • You will own automation within the environment and develop stakeholder relationship with all teams promoting DevOps culture and principles as well as helping shape the future hosting requirements utilising cloud technologies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Automation using System Centre tools
  • Work across teams to improve efficiency and reliability
  • Providing guidance, direction coaching and mentoring in automation concepts
  • Ensure auditable adherence to DPA, ISO27001 and other applicable legislation and standards
  • Follow core processes and procedures such as change control and incident logging

This role is pivotal but challenging, diverse and rewarding and will offer you an opportunity to grow and put your signature on your work as the breadth of in-house technology and pipelined projects are substantial.

Key technical experience required will involve around:

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft OS, Automation, Monitoring and APIS
  • A demonstrable gift for improving technology, processes and systems using orchestration and automation.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft System Center 2016
  • A proven maturity in Orchestrator runbook creation and PowerShell scripting.
  • Extensive Windows Server 2012 to 2016 expertise highly desirable
  • High-level exposure to Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy
  • Expert knowledge of Virtualisation VMware and/or Hyper-V
  • Extensive experience and ability to design, develop and deploy automated solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft OS, automation, monitoring and APIS
  • Cisco networking experience with exposure to ISE or Software defined networking a bonus.
  • Good experience with web technologies
