SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR - WINDOWS: (WINDOWS SERVER, ACTIVE DIRECTORY, SCCM, POWESHELL, PERL)

The work location is in LONDON and is a 6 month contract with a Pay Rate of 400 - 450per day.

Must Have Essential Key skills & Background:

  • 5-9 years' experience administering large scale Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012 and 2016 environments (minimum: multi-domain, 500+ servers, 500+ user base).
  • Expert understanding of Windows Active Directory
  • Solid understanding of various server applications such as SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Certificates, FTP/SFTP.
  • Well versed in scripting languages such as Powershell, VBScript and Perl to use for automation purposes.
  • Other application familiarity a plus: Wansync, RightFax, McAfee, Infoblox, Control-M, Service Now.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively explain, describe, or convey ideas in individual or group situations.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven, able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with minimal direction.
  • Extensive troubleshooting skills are crucial.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service abilities.
  • Experience working closely in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Professional demeanor appropriate for mature enterprise.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure and troubleshoot all versions of the Windows Server family operating system & industry standard infrastructure applications.
  • Provide operational tier 3 support as well as work direct with internal customers.
  • Responsible for performance analysis and corrections for Windows servers.
  • Identify and solve complex systems administration issues.
  • Identify potential solutions to resolve and prevent future service interruptions.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and advise to junior personnel.
