My leading client has an urgent requirement for a Senior Solution Architect, with exceptional experience of providing solutions across Public sector / government clients. You will need to be a tech 'all-rounder' as solutions are likely to include several applications and technologies. You'll need strong capabilities in Application, Data and Integration architecture and solution design. You'll need a thorough understanding of modern IT Infrastructure, applications and Cloud based technologies. Experience covering Government outsourced opportunities and practical experience of their business requirements. The Ability to identify technical issues and be able to design solutions to fix them and most importantly, you should be flexible in making plans and program decisions
You will ensure compliance with solution architectural design in the implementation of projects, providing architectural guidance and design leadership to the Technical Delivery team to ensure delivery is in line with the design along with providing the delivery execution support to the delivery team, supporting the change control process throughout the work package.
The role is really nicely balanced between Applications and IT Infrastructure, with a strong understanding of Cloud / Azure based technologies.
