Senior Solicitor
We are recruiting for a respected and founded organisation specialising in criminal cases across England and Wales. This is a rare opportunity to join the organisation as a Senior Solicitor, while bringing a positive and motivated approach to cases and teams.
The role
- You will work on a variety of criminal cases, utilising your previous experience and understanding to deliver results.
- These cases can include murder, serious sexual assault and drugs which require a strong while sympathetic vision.
- You will review cases and provide legal advice including youth courts, NGAP court lists and multi-day trials.
- You will undertake advocacy in serious cases, including youth court.
- Working your own caseloads and case management.
What will you hold?
·You will be a legally qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
·You will be qualified to practice in England and Wales.
·You will hold an academic law degree or relative qualification.
·You will have a legal practice course.
·You will be a member of CILEx (against the other qualifications)
·2 years' post qualified experience
·Advocacy experience (desirable as can be trained in role)
