Senior Software QA Engineer
Permanent Position
Mostly Remote - Office based in Central London (HYBRID 1 TO 2 DAYS A MONTH IN OFFICE)
SALARY: Up to £60K

Our Software QA Engineers are essential to the smooth running of our Technology teams. Your day to day will consist of owning automation, performance and security testing frameworks, reviewing requirements to create and improve test plans, testing activities, automation scripts using open source tools, dealing with bugs in the SDLC, regression testing, innovating and investigating to influence the automation effort in line with our mission. Your professional mission - make sure scripts don't fail!
Skills and Experience for Success
To excel in this role, ideally you'll have some experience as a Test Engineer, Automation Test Engineer or QA Engineer in an agile environment (or at least exposure to!). You'll be very knowledgeable in QA methodologies, tools and processes. You'll know how to write clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
It's also important that you have experience of the full testing lifecycle from unit testing to user acceptance testing across a multiple product/service environment and can offer innovation, explore new tools and methodologies and constantly improve.
In terms of technology - experience in either Python or Java needed. We'd also love it if you have hands on experience using automated testing framework and tools such as: Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter. Proficiency in Github/Confluence/JIRA is key too.
