Senior Scheduler

We are currently inviting applications for the positions of Senior Scheduler at Babcock Marine Clyde

You will provide an advanced level of project scheduling support, direction and coaching to projects teams to ensure maintenance period schedules are developed and maintained within Babcock Group's Project Management & Planning policies and standards are met via quality schedules that satisfy the requirements of the business and the needs of the customer.

Provision of long term programme resource forecast analysis in order to support the companies Integrated Base Planning (IBP) process and conducting short term resource forecast reviews, with project managers, across live projects to highlight resource capacity / scheduling conflicts for resolution and areas of opportunity.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of probabilistic schedule risk & cost risk analysis (TRA) to inform the project/programme bid process, along with analysis of the cost and schedule impacts of risk mitigation.

The anticipated salary for this position is between £33,000 and £35,000.

Programme Management techniques
Primavera 15.2 and Pert Master
Risk Management techniques

MS Office, MS Project

APM Qualifications - Preferred.

Security

Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements and may be required to complete a medical assessment.

Description of Location

This role is based at HMNB Clyde, located at Faslane, 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland. We are well placed for commuter links to Glasgow and the wider region, with easy access for car and public transport.

Please note that Instructors are occasionally required to work at locations other than HMNB Clyde.
