Senior Researcher - LONDON - £300 - £350 per day - 4 months

The work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 4 months contract.

The pay rate on offer is between £300 - £350 per day.

The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.

Retail industry Customer Insight experience highly preferable.

Key accountabilities of the role include

  • Deliver bespoke and continuous research programme that meets key business needs and deadlines
  • Plan and deliver efficient and appropriate research activity across different techniques and methods
  • Proactively develop an in-depth understanding of the customer and markets
  • Understand and apply the full range of research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative
  • Act on insight briefs - delivering research projects to agreed requirements, budgets, timings and deadlines
  • Identify and source internal and external data requirements for projects
  • Brief appropriate suppliers for specific research projects - managing and controlling the critical path and costs of projects
  • Deliver the integration of research insight with internal sources and market data to provide a single, holistic view
  • Present and discuss insights to individuals or groups where appropriate

Key experience

  • Experience in customer insight, market research - client side
  • Retail experience highly preferable
  • Exposure to and experience of a mix of research techniques - demonstrating confidence in the development and delivery of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  • Experience of using, interpreting and integrating market data such as Kantar, Nielsen, GfK etc
  • Clear demonstration of strong storytelling skills (both written and spoken) to maximise engagement with clients and clarity / actionability of insights
  • Ensure research / insight plans are aligned with business objectives to facilitate strategy development and delivery
