SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Our client a global organization with operations in numerous countries worldwide are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team based in Dublin

Senior Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the set-up and implementation of a number of business systems projects
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects to plan and within budget, while ensuring that the deliverables meet the underlying business case.
  • Lead and manage project teams from Initiation through Go-live.
  • Create and manage project plans ensuring appropriate feedback and buy-in from all functional groups.
  • Proactively assess project issues and facilitate mitigation plan to ensure project success.
  • Present status updates and report on potential issues and mitigation plans to steering group.

Senior Project Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Business or Engineering).
  • At least seven years' experience of successfully managing complex projects involving significant business change.
    • Managed at least Three/four full lifecycle business applications projects, involving significant business change
  • Must come from an FMCG/pharma/manufacturing type background
  • Able to act as business change manager as well as project manager.
  • Experience of managing full lifecycle business applications projects, involving significant business change
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience of a best -practice project management methodology.
  • Project Man agent qualifications
  • Experience of dealing with and managing third-party consultants in a project implementation.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experience in addressing key business issues with IT solutions.
  • Commercially focused.
  • Ability to display a high degree of professionalism in dealing with senior management and users.
  • The energy, enthusiasm and drive to make it happen.
  • A team player who has the ability to motivate others, making it fun while getting the job done.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement and the challenge to make it better.
