Senior Project Manager

Location: Edinburgh

My Edinburgh based client are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business.

The relevant candidate will be responsible for:

  • Complete and submit accurate time reporting sheets as required by company
  • Be involved with company coaching process Annual Appraisal and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training process
  • Comply with IG requirements
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support Customer outcomes.
  • Create and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Prepared to act as deputy for manager from time to time, when line manager not available
  • Create detailed plans to the appropriate level, and update those plans to reflect progress and agreed changes.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Key skills:


  • Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
  • Formal training in project management (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK or equivalent)
  • Extensive industry experience in full software development life cycle in delivering projects, including requirements capture, design, verification, testing and release
  • Experienced in managing potentially complex customer and stakeholder relationships


  • Able to forge continuous improvement culture through QM principles and Info Security certified environment
  • Familiar with identify management, working and deploying to Azure environments
  • SCRUM master experience in a Microsoft development stack environment
  • Educated to degree/equivalent in a STEM subject
