Senior B2B Enterprise Architect - Initial 3 months
Locations: London, Ipswich, Bristol, Belfast, Cardiff, Leeds or Manchester

Senior B2B Enterprise Architect required to join a multinational telecommunications company on an initial 3 month contract.

Candidates can choose to be based in any of the following locations: London, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Belfast, or Cardiff

The role:
This role will involve covering the organisation's B2B capabilities supporting the Global and Enterprise teams, including their customers. You will also need to influence and lead a team of technical experts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being accountable for material and fundamental transformational change for pan technology and CFU.
  • Providing a B2B lens of the IT architecture landscape and direction.
  • Creating architectural patterns when needed and tailoring existing ones to meet the B2B needs.
  • Balancing needs across volume and complex products, domestic and international customers.
  • Providing assurance and support to the principal architects
  • Driving a business capability, complexity, cost, risk and maturity assessment of the current state architecture to meet business outcome and simplification goals
  • Re-using the client's pan and driving clear business values by assuring simple and agile architectures whilst removing cost and legacy from the landscape
  • Assuring and co-ordinating the upkeep of the development of per-CFU-centric capability-based roadmaps spanning a 5 year horizon
  • Providing support during the selection of IT vendors and 3rd party suppliers as well as managing the practice of architecture where they impact your domain
  • Driving Enterprise Architecture and supporting business case development
  • Being aware of changes to technology standards, industry trends and the emergence of technologies within your area of expertise

Key Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years Enterprise Architecture experience, within a large corporate organisation.
  • Ability to lead material business change through Enterprise Architecture
  • Enterprise Architecture Frameworks including TOGAF, and their relevance to the practice of Enterprise Architecture.
  • Light-touch governance processes experience in large organisations
  • A wide range of business, data, systems and technology architecture experience
  • Conceptual system or process modelling knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to develop long term roadmaps linked to business outcomes
  • Ability to produce business cases, gain approval from senior stakeholders and ensure the delivery of business benefits
