The team that you will be joining have recently undertaken significant projects such as the redesign on their UK Network, implementation of web portals and the development of an offshore services team. The team is constantly involving and projects continue to be identified and delivered in a challenging environment.
What will my role involve?
Largely 3rd Line Support, ensuring that escalations are addressed and resolved within SLA, however when projects are launched within the team you will have significant opportunity to play a crucial role in each.
As a subject matter expert within the support function, you will possess an ability to take direct action on more complex issues and have substantial troubleshooting ability.
Typical tasks will include:
- Group Policy creation and administration
- Configuration of Cloud platform
- Installation, configuration and management of remote access solutions
- Installation, configuration and management of Cisco solutions
- Network monitoring
- Supporting and administration of a virtual environment
- Server 2008/2012
- VMWare vSphere
- Citrix XenServer
- Network monitoring tools such as Nagios
- Extensive networking knowledge
