Senior HR Business Partner

I am recruiting a Senior HRBP to work for a FTSE 250 International company specialising in components and sub-systems for the Aerospace, Defence and Energy markets.

You will provide a high quality service by building internal relationships with the leaders of the value streams or functions and HR leaders for their area and demonstrating a high level of technical HR knowledge, skill and expertise.

* Work with line managers and provide advice and guidance on complex employee relations issues.
* Review monthly reports to analyse trends and metrics to assist decision making and improvements in all areas of HR.
* Work with managers and employees on mechanisms to improve engagement, morale and increase retention.
* Responsible for monitoring and reporting on workforce information and succession planning and making recommendations accordingly.
* Support managers in performance management process to improve performance at both individual and departmental level and deliver HR initiatives to resolve
* Provide support and guidance on HR policy.
* Work with the Talent Acquisition Team on developing new attraction strategies and ensure there are no barriers to inclusion and diversity and support with interviewing for various roles including senior posts
* Help shape the culture to align employee and organisation behaviours.
* Support on local employee engagement initiatives to align interests of employees and BU, listening to employee opinion and keeping abreast of the employee relations climate.
* Provide honest and constructive feedback to people within their work area with in the interests of organisational improvement.
* Contributes to policy development and to wider HR team practice by taking lead on area of practice/project
* Assist with the coordination of effective goal setting, review of performance and bonus/merit/pay adjustment processes.
* Coordinate the management of recognition or reward programs.
* Answer employee queries about HR-related issues and oversee the HR Inbox to provide a high quality service.
* Support managers and assist in the case management of short and longer term planed absences and the efficient return to work including home visits as appropriate
* Produces people related MI and cost/benefit analyses to support decision making and targeting of issues.

Key skills and competencies required:
You will need to have a CIPD qualification and experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably Manufacturing.

We would also like you to have:
* Experience of developing partnerships with senior stakeholders and HR team across various locations.
* Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
* Extensive experience of managing complex employee relations issues and casework and managing conflict.
* Demonstrable experience of negotiation skills and strong business acumen.

What else do I need to know?

* Competitive Salary dependent on level of experience, bonus and car allowance,
* 39 hrs per week, Mon to Fri.
* Potential for 6 months FTC to be extended or made permanent
* Based in Coventry
* Must be eligible for UK security clearance
