Senior Head of Programme Management (Digital Delivery) - Central London.

6-month contract

Our client, The UK's leading young people charity, is undergoing a transformation of all face to face and digital services and is looking for a Senior Head of Programme Management (6-month maternity cover) to ensure all products and projects are delivered simultaneously in a cost and time-effective manner.

Key deliverables:

  • Provide a new operating model with clear screening, prioritisation and delivery structure for all service design projects and other potential projects that are digitally focused.
  • Define, develop, monitor, maintain and manage the project delivery life cycle from inception to launch to ongoing maintenance and development for an entire portfolio of projects.
  • Devise, organise and implement high value programmes and projects that are complex in nature.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple programme and project streams to delivery prioritising them against our organisational strategy and resource availability
  • Develop and support the development of business cases, initiation documents, requirement specifications, financial and resource plans, and all other artefacts required to support the approval and delivery of programme and projects.
  • Successfully manage a team of project managers working with others including developers and test analysts.
  • Resolve high-level issues relating to programme and project delivery - minimising risks and maximising efficiency by exercising strict control and oversight of financials, and resource utilisation.

You will have a proven track record in demonstrating the following:

  • Extensive Digital Programme / Portfolio and Project Management experience including risk management and change control
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and its application within a non-profit environment
  • Understanding of the importance of data security and safeguarding
  • Ability to ensure implementation of data analytics / measurement and opitmisation associated with our impact model and best practice in digital service delivery (e.g. conversion optimization, A/B testing)
  • Ability to move project team members towards
  • 'real-time' optimisation based on data
  • Experience working with design and systems thinking frameworks and human-centred design.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills able to mentor and coach teams in agile processes and tools.
