Senior Facilities Engineer

My client, a leading Multi-National located in the south east, is currently seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer to manage and control all aspects of facilities services, so that all facilities equipment is maintained to a high degree of efficiency.

Role description:

  • Management of the facilities electrical PEMAC system conforming to standards
  • Ensuring uptime of facilities equipment by utilising systems tools of RCM and PEMAC techniques
  • Provide electrical engineering support to the Facilities Engineering Group and work on assigned projects involving, equipment/services installations and validations
  • Plan and direct the technician's workload and deployment to align with ongoing business priorities
  • Provide electrical engineering support to Facilities Engineering Group and also Technical Services for the execution of Facilities capital projects
  • Assist Plant Facilities / Project Engineers with system re-design and optimisation of plant services & equipment
  • Ensure facility systems are robust to ensure acceptable compliance to national, international and regulatory standards

Key cGMP Responsibilities

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and meet Regulatory standards at all times
  • Ensure compliance to the QMS
  • Follow Personal Hygiene Rules as defined in the GMP Training Programme and notify area supervision of any health conditions which may affect the quality of product
  • Participate fully in all GMP and operational training programs and complete all Training Records in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintaining cGMP standards through effective reliability centred maintenance (RCM)
  • Compliance to national and international electrical standards

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Possible supervisory duties in relation to Electrical/Facilities contractors

Qualifications/ Training / Experience required

  • Degree (level 7/8) in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience of H.V.A.C., Purified Water, Compressed Air, Steam, Electrical Distribution and general building services would be an advantage
  • Decisive, good communicator, self-motivated, have record of achievement and be a good team member
