Senior Developer

A Senior Developer is required to work for the UK's Leading Engineering Support Services Organisation as part of their Marine Division based in Rosyth.

Joining a small but established Development team based in Rosyth, a Senior Oracle Developer is required to develop technical solutions to support the implementation of system processes throughout the organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be working with up to date technologies, including IFS9 and Business Intelligence tools such as Qlikview/PowerBI. This organisation is at the forefront of new technologies and their platforms are moving with the times so development with tablets/applications/IPADS etc will be an area you will be involved in.

Responsibilities within this role will include reviewing the design and liaising with the system analysts to ensure the solution is in line with business requirements. Produce detailed designs and documents; Translate logical designs to physical designs and Maintain technical awareness.


The successful candidate will have demonstrable Development skills across Oracle including Oracle APEX, Oracle PL/SQL

Write interfaces and codes, Create Oracle jobs, work with analysts and understand ERP tools

It would be beneficial to have experience of Team Foundation Server - used to control and manage work.

This role requires the individual to hold or be able to obtain SC Clearance on acceptance of the position. You must also be eligible to access and handle ITAR, PSA and NNPPI caveat data.
