Senior Data Architect (Modeller)
3 Months - possibility to extend to phase 2 lasting 12 months
Location Manchester is client site location. Assumption is 3 days a week on site, remainder working from home. May vary week to week depending no workshop / meeting requirements. Flexibility will be expected as we are in a design phase.
Responsible for Data Transformation and modelling of data
* Responsible Data Migration - Hana Migration Cockpit, LSMW, BDC
* Responsible for Core Data Architecture
* Ideally some experience in data visualisation tools
* Ideally also able to help support data cataloguing and definitions.
* Strong communicator able to lead solution design and decisions with the client
* Ideally SAP finance background / experience
* Creation of overall data strategy and approach
* Creation At least 7-8 years hands-on experience in XI / PI / PO integration
* Must be willing to travel
* Experience with full life cycle implementations and complex integrations
* Must Should be able to manage an integration team of around 5 people
* Coordinate with the Solution Architect and client IT and business resources during the preparation of the data design
* Work with the project team - including Integration Architect, ABAP Developers, Functional Consultants etc - to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
* Work Collaboratively with Technical, Solution and business teams to interpret the client RFP requirements, additional requirements included during the workshops and craft solutions that satisfy those requirements
* Experienced in requirements gathering, architecting and documenting technical designs
* Experience in performance tuning and code optimization
* Experience with full life cycle implementations and complex migrations
* Ideally SAP finance background / experience
* Extensive experience of data management and migration activities implementing an S4/HANA multi-tiered SAP environment
* Working with SAP functional and technical consultants analysing data migration requirements and the make-up of legacy data
* Designing appropriate data migration solutions including, where required, transformation routines
* Experience across SAP ERP functional areas such as Finance
