Senior Business Change Advisor

Farnborough (Remote Working)

Contract Ending March 2021

Pay: up to £517 per day (Umbrella ONLY)

Role Purpose

Successful candidate will apply their experience in Business Change field to manage allocated change activities within the Digital and Data Transformation programme and help shape the strategic direction of change management on Digital by working alongside the Group Digital Business Change Manager

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for leading allocated change management activities across numerous different workstreams such as: productivity tooling, business systems and new customers products
  • Responsible for ensuring a newly defined Digital mind-set is fully embedded throughout the organisation (activities would include early identification and mitigation of resistance to change as well as delivery of post go live continuous improvement initiatives)
  • Responsible for liaison with 3rd party consultants such as IBM to manage early definition phase (for example, defining approach to the benefits management and realisation);
  • Responsible for the design of new modes of operation and conducting the gap analysis between the AS IS and TO BE states
  • Promotion and embedding of new processes and ways of working
  • Accountable for management of training needs across different Digital workstreams
  • Driving the evolution of the business change delivery Roadmap by regularly assessing existing change management processes against business needs and strategic deliveries
  • Responsible for measurement of adoption rates of new tooling and ways of working globally and designing strategy to improve the rates
  • Responsible for identification and resolution of resistance to change globally by liaising with key change influencers from within and outside of the UK (e.g., Canada, Australia, Germany etc.)
  • Building strong business relationships with Finance, HR, IT, Business Services, Marcomms, Technical, BU's, subsidiaries and functions other than BTS to secure Digital Change Ambassadors / early adopters in order to support the Digital Team in transitioning of our employees to future state of operation

  • Proven track record in delivery of digital change management programmes
  • Proven track record in successful delivery of pre- deployment / user readiness activities such as user training

  • Communications skills: excellent communications skills; ensuring two-way dialog and empathy to achieve digital transformation objectives
  • Stakeholder management: being able to identify and successfully engage with key stakeholders globally

  • Ability to influence others
  • Works with moderate level of guidance
  • Strong exposure to project management (TOR, project plans)
  • Good PowerPoint skills
  • Can do attitude and flexible in approach

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experienced working within a Business Change / Digital Business Change area
  • Business analysis experience required to be able to map processes, conduct gap analysis, analyse user feedback, capture user needs etc.
  • Degree educated or equivalent practical experience
  • Keen to learn and develop new skills within the change management areas (keen in keeping knowledge up to date)
  • Proven track in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
