Senior Brand Manager Consumer Healthcare - this fantastic opportunity has just come up with a global leading pharmaceutical company due to internal promotion.

This is a critical position within the Consumer Health Marketing team as it is the most senior level role within a current team of 6. You will be working with the leading product portfolio and a leading brand within Digestive Health. The role will cover UK and Ireland, and you will be based in the company`s office in Surrey with flexibility to work from home.

You will have the unique opportunity to join a company truly committed and passionate about Consumer Healthcare, with ambitious plans and strong drive for success. In this strategic position, you will not only deliver short term and long term sales for the designated brands but will also shape the longer term strategic direction, annual brand planning, and on-going execution of marketing programmes for brands within the portfolio.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience as Senior Brand Manager or experienced Brand Manager in recognized OTC/Healthcare or FMCG businesses, at country and/or regional/global level.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent ideally with a formal marketing qualification
  • Substantial and sustainable experience in multi-channel consumer marketing/trade marketing/digital marketing/primary research and analysis/reporting of market data.
  • Strong track record and leadership in strategic (short/long-term strategies) & operational marketing (DTC & medical marketing) as well as innovation projects.
  • Acquired understanding of OTC regulations/product classifications, the PAGB code of practice and its practical application in a business environment.
  • Experience in P&L management, forecasting and financial optimisation of product portfolio
  • Lead, direct and coach people as well as complex product category project teams. Have effective intercultural relationships with regional and global colleagues.
  • Ability to influence management stakeholders and peers, synthesise amounts of data to support business decisions and clearly articulate them in meetings and presentations.
