Senior Account Manager - South West - Competitive Salary & OTE Earnings

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Account Manager to join a global blue-chip software company that provides market leading solutions to the legal, tax, finance and media markets. This role is a field-based role covering the South West of the UK, so we are ideally looking for candidates based in/ around the Bristol/ Bath area. This is a key role within their legal business unit working with law firms and public sector organisations.

The role is focused on delivering excellent customer service that demonstrates value to the company's customers and growth to the business. You will focus on managing and growing key client relationships, creating new cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across our suite of software solutions as well as proactively building and nurturing new and existing relationships with key decision makers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and execute a territory plan focusing on growth and retention strategies.
  • Manage key relationships to cross-sell new solutions and retain existing revenue through regular contact and face to face meetings.
  • Over-achievement of all sales targets.
  • Accurate forecasting, as well as regularly maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
  • Internal relationship building to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Present a professional image of the company at all times, whilst building high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Uncovering client needs and developing new opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Strong metric & KPI driven sales responsibility

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Experience and success working in an Account Management role within a targeted and KPI driven sales environment
  • Experience of successfully managing and building client relationships
  • Strong sales presentation skills; both face to face and remotely
  • Excellent negotiation, opportunity qualification & client needs analysis skills
  • Experience of managing portfolios of clients and services
  • Proven success in new business & retention, up selling and cross selling online and/or software products
  • Highly organised
  • Self-motivated & driven
  • Excellent listening & communication skills

  • Knowledge & experience of legal industry
