Senior Account Manager - Midlands - Legal Sales - Competitive Salary & OTE Earnings

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Account Manager to join the field sales team for a blue chip organisation connecting customers business to the ever-changing legal and regulatory environment. Working closely with major corporations you will be responsible for managing and growing key client relationships with FTSE 250 & 500 corporations as well as cross selling and up-selling through the introduction of new solutions to proactively build and nurture existing relationships.

In this role you will be managing around 85 accounts with revenues of £3m. This role will require demonstrated account management abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and execute a territory plan focusing on growth and retention strategies.
  • Manage key relationships to cross-sell new solutions and retain existing revenue through regular contact and face to face meetings.
  • Accurate forecasting, as well as regularly maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
  • Internal relationship building to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Present a professional image of the company at all times, whilst building high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Uncovering client needs and developing new opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Maintain a strong metric & KPI driven sales responsibility

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

  • Experience and success working in an Account Management role within a targeted and KPI driven sales environment
  • Experience of successfully managing and building client relationships
  • Strong sales presentation skills; both face to face and remotely
  • Excellent negotiation, opportunity qualification & client needs analysis skills
  • Experience of managing portfolios of clients and services
  • Proven success in new business & retention, up selling and cross selling online and/or software products
  • Highly organised
  • Self-motivated & driven
  • Excellent listening & communication skills
