The role.

You will support Regional Security Managers South & South West of England in exploiting growth opportunities and managing threats in an assured and optimal way, by creating and maintaining a positive security environment and culture. You will optimise security to add value and protect the brand, enabling the company to retain its trusted position with its investors, customers, employees and regulators. You will need to operate with a focus which enables the organisation to exploit growth opportunities in an informed manner and so optimise profitable revenue generation. Finally, you will ensure the integrity of the company in terms of security operations and personnel, guaranteeing compliance with requirements of Corporate Security Policy, HMG Security Policy Framework and other customer security requirements.

You will be viewed as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Security (both internal and external), and you will support transformational change within the company, proactively managing security risks and threats.

Key Accountabilities.

You will deliver a security service in support of Regional Security Managers across sites, compliant with the requirements of the HMG security Policy Framework.

You will be maintaining and reviewing the security status of the business's assets in line with the companies Operating Framework.

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Security Risk Registers to provide direction for employees and customers.

You will provide all aspects of security support to the business, permitting it to operate appropriately in a highly regulated environment in line with the companies Operating Framework.

You will also provide specialist security advice on all aspects of security that relate to business activities and bids.

You need to maintain regular direct links with the Government Intelligence Community, Police Special Branch, customers and their accreditors to ensure compliance with Government Policy and provide confidence and trust across our customer group.

The Fit.

You need previous experience as a Company Security Controller.

You need a proven track record in Security.

You need awareness of Security Polices as they relate to all aspects of a company's operations globally.
