My client, a large global insurance company based in the city, is looking for an experienced SAP Process Consultant to join them on a 12-month contract. You will be tasked with managing the finance workstream of a large company-wide SAP project, defining the Target Operating Model and streamlining the governance structure.
You will be responsible for the relevant process design, testing and implementation. The main objective is to improve and implement cost-centre structure, cost allocation model and accounts payable process in order to advance efficiency and process robustness.

Key Duties

· Document, analyse and asses finance processes
· Develop best practices, routines and solutions to improve efficiency and quality of output
· Optimize, develop and configure cost allocation & accounts payable processes
· Design, run and test systems and processes
· Run Workshops with the members of the Finance area
· Prepare decision papers and present solutions
· Provide process documentation, operating instructions, training material and conduct trainings
· Manage cost and time constraints

Required Skills and Experience

· A fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a broad finance and accounting background
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing & developing finance process improvement / implementation projects; especially in cost allocation & financial closing process
· Good knowledge of SAP FICO
· Insurance and/or Financial Services industry experience
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Analytical thinker with strong interpersonal skills
· Excellent stakeholder management skills
