Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our client's busy Resource Management team in the role of Resource Manager. You will play an integral part in supporting the business in meeting its resource management challenges.

As an assignment based organisation, there is a continual requirement to identify new roles for employees who are finishing client and project assignments. In addition, there is a constant demand of resource requests from existing projects and new business requirements for additional employees to deliver services.

Responsibilities:
The resourcing team has wide-ranging responsibility and you will be engaged in supporting business managers in the following activities:

* Liaise with Account teams (Account manager, Financial Controller, etc.) to allocate resources to projects, agree rates and extensions.
* Maintain a true assignment forecast for the Service resources you support
* Liaise with key managers within the client to support Service resource allocation to deals / opportunities
* Support Operations Manager in the production of management information
* Manage and be a single point of contact for transitions and new deals as required.
* Manage admin resource manager in their support of external/subcontractor recruitment and internal request management
* Support Sales to advise resource availability for new deals.
* Work with our specialist recruitment partners to source permanent and/ or subcontract resources as required
* Provision of timely and accurate information, including regular reports
* Systems
* Retain (resourcing system): Forecasting: Amendment of employee records in respect of assignment detail and availability.

CPS (internal employee profile (CV) system):
Issue of timely reminders to employees to update their profile
Approve silhouette profile amendments
Arrangement of silhouette training courses
Skills searches of sales profiles

A fundamental part of the role is regular communication with the following key stakeholders;
Resource Managers
Business Managers
Flexible Resource Partners
External Recruitment partners

Essential requirements:
* Very strong MS Office skills, in particular excel. An aptitude to master new systems quickly.
* Strong and effective communicator.
* Very Strong people skills, being able to effectively communicate and influence key decisions at all levels
* Excellent communication in English language, both written and verbal, and ability to build and sustain productive relationships.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to adhere to processes and procedures.
* Proven time management skills as the need to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines is essential.
* Ability to manage assigned workload, a strong team player.
* Flexible approach to all aspects of the role.
* Ability and willingness to travel to UK as required
* Experience of delivering a service in a busy environment, where customer expectations are met or exceeded.
* Recruitment and resource management experience, preferably within an IT environment.
