ITSM Reporting Analyst- Cambridge- 6 months.

Do you love data? Are you brilliant at providing enlightening, accurate and easy to understand information? Are you motivated to help improve IT services? If so this new role in IT Operational Excellence will appeal to you.

You should be as comfortable buried deep in data and analytics as you are talking to people about what they need from the data and why. You will work with colleagues to identity measures and data sources. With this you will design and produce dashboards and reports covering service and platform health.

Job role:

  • You will work with management teams to ensuring that the department has a well understood set of measures, with good coverage, to be used for information-led decisions to manage our performance and efficiency
  • You will show people how to gain, validate and interpret data
  • You will collaborate with data owners to understand their requirements and mock-up live dashboards and retrospective reports and scoreboards
  • You will notice trends and anomalies and proactively take these to those able to rectify the issues you have identified

Your skills and experience:

  • You have a background in technology with knowledge and experience of standard methodologies of service management and delivery frameworks
  • You have working knowledge of ITSM and analytical tools (including ServiceNOW)If you have any experience in these areas, this would be excellent:
  • Working in a multi-sourced service environment
  • Knowledge of measurement methods and best practice metrics
  • Experience of cloud service offerings and support models
  • Understanding of Agile development practices
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate and/or ISO20,000 certification, though training will be provided if required
