Relationship Manager - Risk - Canary Wharf - Competitive Salary & OTE Earnings

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Relationship Manager to join a global blue-chip company that specialises in providing market leading software and online intelligence solutions into the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, intellectual property and science and media markets.

As a Relationship Manager within this organisation, you will work within the Compliance and Risk business line, looking after a book of business made up of FTSE 250 and FTSE 500 financial institutions and corporates. These companies already have long term, significant relationships with the organisation so the role will be focused on ensuring customer retention, growing revenue and usage. As a Relationship Manager you will use your expertise in customer relations, industry knowledge, and product mastery to increase retention and loyalty, remove obstacles and add value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the client relationship & renewal process to exceed revenue targets
  • Hit 100% penetration of client renewal portfolio, hunger to retain and find solutions to make that happen.
  • Hit or exceed annual targets through your client business reviews, sales referrals, client trainings, pre-sale demos. Strong metric & KPI driven sales responsibility
  • Drive retention of accounts through value reinforcement/ROI discussions and user adoption within your customer base.
  • Develop and maintain territory plans
  • Working in Salesforce CRM environment throughout deal progression
  • Reporting, analysis and meeting involvement as required by Sales Leadership team
  • Actively engage in the sales coaching process, partnering well with managers and your peers to share ideas and learn from each other.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

  • Experience and success working in a targeted and KPI driven sales environment
  • Experience of all elements of sales process, client management and CRM tools
  • Strong sales presentation and proposal building skills
  • Proven negotiator with C Suite, with strong opportunity qualification & client needs analysis skills
  • Track Record of success in Account Management (developing rapport with clients, ability to renew existing business and identify new opportunities with current clients)
  • Proven success of retention, developing client rapport, up selling and cross selling within complex, online content and/or software products
  • Experience of successfully managing complex accounts/client relationships
  • Ability to build internal network and manage multiple internal stakeholders to reach successful outcomes
  • Self-motivated & driven
  • Excellent face to face presentation and communication skills

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge & experience of Compliance and Risk industry
  • Knowledge and experience working with a corporate and financial compliance program
  • Experience in product migrations
