Regional Business Manager - this exciting new role has just come up with a global leading pharmaceutical company with excellent reputation in the industry.

In this role, you will develop and implement the integrated regional business plan, and will be responsible for vaccine sales, advocacy development and stakeholder networking. You will manage a team of highly successful Vaccine Account Managers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To work with and integrate the telesales capability of the outsourced provider to maximise regional sales.
  • To create a business environment between the different team roles that encourages product growth and opportunities for all in-line products.
  • To ensure all relevant key regional NHS decision makers are identified and contacted as appropriate.
  • To implement and monitor adherence to the Regional business plan
  • To ensure all regional advocacy plans and databases are implemented and updated.
  • To manage the allocation of human and financial resources to ensure maximum return on investment within budget.
  • To convert strategic plans into sales tactics in order to achieve regional business objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with a science background
  • Sales experience in healthcare / pharmaceutical / biotech industry, combined with experience in a sales management or dedicated coaching role
  • ABPI qualified with a detailed understanding of ABPI Code of Practice and its practical application in a business environment
  • Experience of successfully leading a sales team to achieve business targets
  • Ideally vaccines knowledge, but other therapy areas will also be considered
  • Working knowledge of the NHS environment and strategy in particular, local decision-making processes and funding flows
