Regional Account Manager - UK

Central London

Up to £45,000 Salary + £15,000 on target commission

We are looking to recruit a Regional Account Manager for a fantastic new opportunity to join our existing sales team working from our prestigious Central London Headquarters in Canary Wharf.

Thomson Reuters is a multinational media and information business that supports organisations in the financial and risk, legal, tax and accounting, intellectual property, and science and media markets. Thomson Reuters has recently acquired an organisation called Confirmation, the world's leading provider of secure online audit confirmations, used by over 16,000 audit firms globally.

Our solution helps to combat fraud, digitise & automate processes and enhance the customer experience. We are expanding our small, but fast growing European team. The UK Regional Account Manager will be managing a portfolio of existing financial institutions along with supporting the larger financial institutions in the UK. The objective of this role is to develop the region by developing strong relationships with existing financial institutions in order to keep growing revenue from these institutions, and drive the usage of the service and expand the reach across each account.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue growth objectives
  • Identify and meet with key decision makers in financial institutions to cross-sell the solution
  • Build and expand the bank network by targeting banks by promoting the value of the service.
  • Continue to identify and add new business lines and departments.
  • Secure "exclusive" arrangements with financial institutions.
  • Drive increased adoption across accounts through training and onsite meetings to stakeholders, existing and new users across own portfolio and key strategic banks in the region.
  • Attend client meetings, tradeshows, user groups, and key conferences. Educate, drive adoption, and promote growth.
  • Work with the Marketing team to plan and drive strategic initiatives, programmes, messaging and campaigns within the region.
  • Provide market feedback to the Product team that enhances the current offering.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of solution in order to actively train users and demo the product to prospective new clients.
  • Work closely with the Customer Support team to support financial institutions with their day to day requests and proactive support with bank response times
  • This position requires approximately 20% domestic travel.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 1 year proven B2B sales experience, preferably within financial services / audit industry
  • Proven experience of building strong client relationships
  • Preferable experience of selling in a complex sales cycle

This is a permanent role based in Central London, Canary Wharf. We offer an excellent starting salary of £45,000 with and OTE of c£60-£65K & as well, as host of other great benefits, and career development opportunities.
