We are actively looking to secure an efficient and diligent Recruitment Support Officer.

Job Purpose

We require a strong Recruitment Support Office to join the team here at Manpower, working onsite with one of our prestigious Naval clients based in Devonport. The purpose of the post is to support the Managed Service Provider (MSP) team with onboarding activities, escorting candidates and administration of the recruitment processes, in line with agreed standards and timescales.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Tasks and responsibilities are to support the business stakeholders and the MSP team in the following areas:

  • Engaging with agency suppliers and client stakeholders to support recruitment and onboarding of industrial workers
  • Collating information from the supply chain for the operational team and client support teams (HR, training, security etc)
  • Administering systems and support documents for the onboarding of industrial workers and ongoing system administration for existing workers.
  • Escorting new starters to join their operational teams
  • Ensuring that new starters are fully trained prior to reporting to starting with the client
  • Ordering and collecting PPE and clock cards for new starters
  • To provide a point of professional communication between the client and Manpower, supporting any escalation issues.
  • Supporting the MSP to identify areas for improvement
  • Support operations teams with ad-hoc requirements such as supporting the wider team during holiday periods, assisting with pay queries etc
  • Plan and execute projects as required
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting from Fieldglass VMS

Your skills:

  • Strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience of working to SLAs within a fast pace environment
  • Ability to problem solve at short notice
  • Ability to multi-task, be flexible and be able to adapt to change
  • Experienced in working across multiple systems and advanced experience of Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of the end to end recruitment process and experience of working a Vendor Management System (Fieldglass), or equivalent would be advantageous
  • Previous recruitment experience would also be beneficial
  • Physically fit as the role will involve regular walking around the dockyard
