Quality Co-ordinator £35-40k - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract - FTSE100 Global Organisation

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Coordinator to join a prestigious FTSE 100 Support Services organisation based out of one of their sites in Portsmouth. The purpose of the role is to provide quality and customer service delivery within the HR Shared Service Centre and support HR SSC Manager during the improvement programme.

Job description:

We are now actively recruiting for a Quality Coordinator to join our team in Portsmouth. Working within the Shared Service Centre which supports over 12,000 employees the initial focus will be to improve both quality and customer service delivery.


Role and responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for the quality of all products produced by the HR SSC
  • Using knowledge of ISO9001, continue to evolve the newly impacted Quality Management System so that it will continue to evolve over time
  • Use key requirements of ISO9001 standard to compile a Quality & Governance Manual for the department including roll out and team training
  • Compile an HR SSC Induction and Employee Induction Booklet and roll out including team training
  • Liaison with BU HRBP to ensure that the HR SSC meets their quality expectations
  • Embed a Customer Service focused culture within the HR Shared Service by continually reviewing performance and providing advice and support
  • Promptly identify corrective and preventative actions in order to prevent non conformities within the HR SSC
  • Identify the improvements embedded within the HR SSC in order to feedback into the wider business and HR community as part of the continual improvement journey
  • Play a lead role in the training of line managers, both in new processes and as an ongoing requirement

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Well rounded Quality and Customer Service skills
  • Certification in Quality Management, or demonstrable experience in a Quality role
  • Highly motivated with an eye for detail
  • High level of computer literacy and self-starter on new systems
  • Ability to work well in a high pressured environment
