Quality Assurance Engineer Bristol Salary up to £35,000 Per Year + Additional Benefits About the role Here at Babcock International we currently have an opportunity for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer working in the Defence Systems Technology business unit based in Filton, Bristol. As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be working as part of the larger quality function that oversees two main contracts in relation to Type 45 Destroyers, Queen Elizabeth Carrier and Submarines checking and ensuring products and documentation are fit for purpose and meet contractual needs. Provide support to the business in the delivery of its quality plans, and provide support to the planning, scheduling, conducting and reporting of audits. What do I need to do the role? To be successful in this role we expect you to hold a minimum of an NVQ level 3, HNC or ONC in an Engineering Discipline with the tools and experience gained in a highly regulated quality driven environment. We would also like you to hold all or some of the following: · ISO Internal Auditor Course (UKAS Accredited) or willing to work towards this. · Experience working to ISO 9001 and AQAP Standards. · Worked using quality tools such as; Pareto, FMEA, 5 whys & 8D. · Excellent eye for detail. · Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
