As a critical role in Science's success, we are looking to hire QA Engineers to join our team and contribute to the development of disruptive apps / products - part of a series of exciting new projects in Client's global Science team, solving complex business problems.

This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to enjoy state-of-the-art R&D and be challenged and grow in the field of "AI-first" software / product development; along the way this role will contribute to game-changing products for the multi-trillion-dollar insurance industry and use Client's (the world's largest insurer by many metrics) global network to deliver impact and change.

Responsibilities and Performance Objectives

  • Take ownership of a significant part of the team's solution development
  • Demonstrate end-to-end understanding of applications being created
  • Thoroughly document testing of all aspects of functionality
  • Communicate test plans/ results with internal/ external stakeholders
  • Build reusable test assets

Required Attributes

Both senior candidates (i.e., with years of experience / leadership) and junior candidates are welcome to apply; we have and will offer positions appropriate to expertise and level of experience.

The minimum required skills include:

  • Experience operating in enterprise environment
  • Good communicator and team player
  • Experience of working under BDD/ TDD
  • Ability to write precise and simple bug reports for UX/ Developers
  • Knowledge of accessibility requirements
  • Familiarity with test automation (e.g. Selenium)
  • Capable of basic scripting (e.g. Python)
  • Understanding project timelines and ability to prioritize effort

An ideal candidate (is not required to, but) will also have

  • Some experience working in lean start ups
  • Basic knowledge of insurance/ finance
