QA Automation Architect / Automation Practice Lead
An excitging opportunity for a Senior QA Automation leader to own and shape test automation across a growing consultancy's client portfolio.
This role blends automation architecture, technical strategy, and people leadership. You will be setting the direction for automation frameworks, mentor engineers embedded with clients and work hands‑on where it adds the most value.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Design and evolve modern automation frameworks (UI, API, performance, accessibility)
- Define automation strategy and standards across multiple client engagements
- Lead and mentor QA Automation Engineers in distributed teams
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
- Act as senior escalation point for automation and quality
- Build PoCs and demos to showcase automation value to clients
- Contribute to automation delivery
Required skills and experience:
- Proven experience leading or mentoring automation engineers
- Strong Node.js / TypeScript automation experience
- Proven framework experience (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, API tools, etc.)
- CI/CD and cloud experience (Azure and/or AWS)
- Consultancy or multi‑client delivery background
- Comfortable balancing strategy, leadership and hands‑on engineering
