The work location is in STAINES and is a 6 month contract. Pay Rate is 475- 550 Per Day.
Working for a client on the forefront of a major Digital Change.

Must Have Essential Key skills & Background:

  • 5+ years of experience of professional experience with Linux. CentOS Preferred
  • Prior strong experience in executing consulting / professional services project like Infra provisioning, Server hardening & Application setup and configurations using IaC using Puppet as Configuration Management tool
  • Experience in delivering configuration management /orchestration solution using SCM, CI/CD pipeline and Orchestration tools
  • Strong Implementation, Administration and Support skills on Puppet:
  • Puppet (PE and open source)
  • Puppet Server (PE and open source)
  • PuppetDB (PE and open source)
  • (PE and open source)
  • Hiera (PE and open source)
  • MCollective (PE and open source)
  • Experience using DevOps and Automation tools to deploy, test, and support services in a CI/CD
  • Experience in CI/CD Build Servers (Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.)
  • Familiarity developing in some languages such as: Python, Ruby, Yaml, Shell, Perl
  • Familiarity with Open Source work management tools: JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Git, GIT Hub, Stash/BitBucket
  • Proven experience working in a team setting on large scale projects
  • Proven experience working with Agile methodologies for delivering software
  • Ability to review and create technical design documentation
  • Strong understanding of test driven development and testing concepts to participate in unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and load testing

Secondary Skills:

  • Cloud Services - Experience in Environment Provision Cloud services like AWS/Azure

Good to have skills:

  • Experience in Client facing/interacting skills - Ability to understand key requirements, identify gaps and come out with recommendations
  • Ability to own, manage and drive configuration, environments related artifacts
  • Excellent planning, scheduling and co-ordination skills across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Good communication/presentation skills
  • Good consulting & business mining experience
