OVERVIEW:

To support the generation of client proposals, budgets & contracts across all company services globally.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Proposals

  • Proposal creation for all allocated sales opportunities.
  • Budget creation in line with scope of work and proposal; mapping of budget into client templates where required
  • Amend & revise budgets as per client & BD requests
  • Liaison with Business Development Executives to define scope of work where required
  • Liaison with internal teams (e.g. Operations, VCMT) to obtain functional input for proposals
  • Internal distribution of proposals & budgets for review
  • Filing of all RFP related documentation into Opportunity database
  • Ensuring all RFP & amendment deadlines are adhered to
  • Ensuring all proposals & budgets approved at VP level
  • Creation of Client documents for issue via BD Execs
  • Attendance & presentation at Operational Handover meeting
  • Input into ongoing development of company budgeting system.

Contracts

  • Provision of the appropriate contract templates to clients on notification of award via Business Development
  • Drafting contracts in line with agreed proposals and scope
  • Liaison with customer to define and document scope of work
  • Review of customer comments of drafted contract documents, ensuring risks to company are minimized; liaison with legal as required
  • Review and negotiation of customer contract language, in conjunction with VP Corporate Services
  • Finalization of contracts & ensuring all appropriate signatures obtained
  • Contract filing & tracking

Change in Project Scope

  • Point of contact for Operations as CIS are identified.
  • Amendment of budgets in line with CIS requirements
  • Ensuring CIS reviewed & approved by VP
  • Provision of Client documentation for issue via Ops or BD Execs as appropriate.
  • Tracking & reporting of CIS activity to Exec Mgmt Team.

General

  • Participation in ongoing review & update of budgeting tools & pricing models.
  • Participation and contribution to sales meetings as appropriate
  • Undertaking such other duties as may be required from time to time

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • University or college degree in legal, life science, pharmacy, nursing or equivalent relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience in the drug development industry 2 yrs +
  • Prior sales &/or proposal/budget experience 2 yrs +
  • Basic understanding of Good Clinical Practice and Clinical Trial Methodology.
  • Strong technical and problem solving skills, highly computer literate.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, resource and general management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrates collaborative behaviors.
