Project Procurement Manager SF28117 Bristol, Filton Here at Babcock International we currently have this great opportunity to work as a Project Procurement Manager at our brand new offices in Bristol. This position is working within our DST business unit within the Marine and Technology Division of Babcock International Group. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain for DST's Equipment Management Business, we are recruiting for Project Procurement Managers to join our Supply Chain team based in Bristol. You will play a significant role in managing the material and services requirements of projects by generating best value solutions, to increase the overall value and performance derived from the Supply Chain. Managing a team of seven individuals, you will be expected to play a significant role in their career development by supporting and motivating your team to perform at the best of their ability. Along with the effective management of a strategic team, you will design and implement appropriate supply chain solutions to support delivery of a number of projects and plan, prepare and implement strategic sourcing projects, analyse market responses and recommend solutions to relevant stakeholders. What do you need to do the role? Ideally, we would like you to hold a degree or Qualified by experience in a relevant engineering or supply chain environment. We would also like you to hold some or all of the following: Must have a flexible approach to workload, confident reading and understanding technical drawings and ability to communicate complex requirements to/from supply chain. Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business Must have a good understanding of complex manufacturing processes and principles Experience in sourcing new materials and services Location Bristol is a vibrant city in south west England with a wide range of attractions, landmarks, events and shopping.
