Role Objectives

  • Maintain existing project schedule and create further schedules where required that align with the requirements for the scope of work and execution policy.
  • Develop the schedule in line with the requirements of the team and the wider programme requirements
  • Work in a pragmatic way in an Agile environment working to combine methodologies at the right reporting level in the most efficient way without duplication of effort.
  • To work with the immediate team and the wider programme to obtain updates and keep the schedule up to date.
  • Act as the headlights of the programme performing what if analysis and critical path assessment to inform and assist the Project managers.
  • Provide support for mitigation plans to help recover the timeline should this become necessary.
  • Support the wider Programme team where change control process is required.
  • Update and produce the reports as required by the internal policies to a high stabdard of accuracy and clarity.
  • To operate in an Agile environment and partake in Agile ceremonies, reflect changes in roadmaps and results of Programme Increment planning sessions back into the high level schedules.
  • Perform all other duties as required by the team and the wider programme team.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Project
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrable Project management techniques.
  • Awareness of SAFe Agile practices.
  • Able to coordinate and work with other teams and manage a wide range of stakeholders
  • Good research and analytical skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Professional working knowledge of project management software and tools.
