Project Manager - Transformational Change

£38-44k plus package

Experis are recruiting on behalf of our Client a leading Engineering Support Services organisation for an experience Project / Change Manager to join them in a permanent capacity working with key stakeholders to deliver a major cultural and organisational change programme within one of their operating divisions.

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows -

  • Manage a behavioural and organisational change programme to identify, scope, value and deliver lasting organisational change
  • Manage project teams in a matrix structure with a focus on resource, planning and delivery whilst embedding key programme principles of quality and customer service across all work-streams
  • Champion the drive towards benefits realisation and where appropriate; the introduction of agile project management methodology and collaborative working
  • Ensure all projects under your control are managed / documented within agreed reporting framework and follow project process including but not restricted to
    • Identification and prioritisation of complex tasks
    • Critical path analysis
    • Contingency planning
    • Risk Analysis

The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience -

  • Degree qualified or demonstrable experience in delivery of transformational change
  • Proven experience of the successful delivery of projects / programmes to a structured methodology
  • Excellent understanding of the full project lifecycle
  • Experience and knowledge of change management techniques and tools
  • Able to establish, shape and manage complex programmes of work in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable in the delivery of new organisational operating models
  • Must possess strong stakeholder engagement skills - able to deal with conflicting priorities and ensure that bigger picture is communicated effectively
  • Must be able to effectively communicate project progress - persuasive written, compelling oral
  • Proficient in use of MS Office suite - particularly MS Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Abler to gain and maintain UK SC level security clearance
  • Flexible for occasional travel within the UK as per demands of this role
