Project Manager - International Logistics - London

The pay rate on offer is £500 per day and the duration of the contract is 3 months.

This role is working for a large multinational retailer. The role sits within their International unit, and knowledge of International Logistics/Supply Chain is essential.

Key accountabilities and measures

  • Drive and implement Logistics change initiatives on-time, within budget and to achieve agreed deliverables minimising any impact to the Business (Cost, Quality & Time
  • Create business cases to assess both cost and lead times and present to senior stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal and external resources including Sourcing, Bus, Supply Chain & Logistics, IT, Finance teams plus International Partners in a cohesive manor to ensure the project is successful
  • Keep business stakeholders aligned and engaged throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work with IT and Change teams to ensure all project planning is aligned to key critical path milestones.
  • Manage and mitigate any risks and issues associated with external dependencies (other programmes & business initiatives).

  • High level of numeracy, analytical and reporting skills. Competent with Powerpoint and high proficiency with Excel
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills through both verbal and written media to initiate and build strong relationships with wider project team & build a network of supportive colleagues in wider business
  • Great stakeholder management skills across senior stakeholders, project teams and business leads and the ability to listen, gather input, summarise and feedback requirements
  • International supply chain knowledge and understanding is essential
