Project Manager - Infrastructure

We are actively looking to secure an innovative and pragmatic Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Job Purpose

We are currently looking for an innovative and pragmatic Project Manager with a "can-do" attitude to join our expert team.

The objectives of the PM are to:

  • Prepare small projects services and work orders (SOWs and SPSs) in line with client requirements, take them through internal approvals process and obtain approvals and POs
  • Manage the delivery of SOWs and SPSs from mobilisation of resources through month end progress and financial reporting to acceptance, final invoicing and close down

Responsibilities

  • Prepare SOW and SPS quotations including change requests (PCNs) from client to account, to include creation of IV's, managing SLAs and tracking through internal approvals and liaison with the clients 3rd party suppliers for supplier quotes
  • Liaise with internal resource management, raise request requests and obtain the necessary skills required for delivery. On board new joiners' in accordance with on-boarding and security clearance processes
  • Manage P&P projects to ensure these do not extend scope, cost or timescales without appropriate impact analyses and client approval; manage stakeholder escalations
  • Lead the teams, client PMs, vendors and Ecosystem third party suppliers for projects to meet the planned timescales and scope and manage client stakeholder engagement for dependencies
  • Day-to-day working with the client's project managers and Ecosystem supplier project managers for acceptance of project deliverables and transition to BAU teams. May include supervision (either on site or remote) of 3rd parties and moves on move periods (may be weekends or out of hours) as part of delivery
  • Accurate input to mid-month and month-end reporting for actuals, forecasts of resources (people, HW, SW, 3rd parties), estimates to complete, variances and variances explanations
  • Identify potential up-sell or pull-through opportunities

Essential Skills

  • Proven ability to manage infrastructure projects, deliver high quality consultancy and support, deliver top quality, reliable service and support within a complex business services environment
  • Working in collaboration with multiple areas and/or 3rd party suppliers
  • Leading and managing complex teams in a matrix structure
  • Project shaping and successful project delivery
  • Experience of dealing with all levels of stakeholder including senior stakeholders
  • Experience of running Waterfall and Agile projects
