Are you a Project Manager with experience implementing large scale ERP projects?

At Sky we have exciting opportunities for Technical Project Managers/Senior Project Managers to join our UKIS (UK Information Systems) team. UKIS manage the systems that help our Contact Centre Agents provide great service to our customers; enable us to collect our customers' money safely and efficiently; manage engineer appointments and stock distribution; aid managing relationships with our commercial customers; and provide data to the executive that helps drive business decisions and growth. Changes to these systems are managed through a team of Programme and Project Managers who ensure the effective and efficient delivery of leading edge, technical programmes and projects in line with business expectations.

We are about to embark on a large scale ERP programme and require an experience Senior project manager, with excellent stakeholder management skills, and a sound understanding of technology projects, to lead our team of experts.

As Senior Project Manager you'll be responsible for:

  • Working collaboratively with project Stakeholders, Lead Analysts and Designers, to scope and shape the project
  • Understanding the business need, breaking it down with the project team into a practical scope within the timescales required
  • Ensuring that technology deliverables are appropriate to business requirements in terms of quality, cost and time-scale
  • Having an in-depth understanding of functional specifications & requirements before signing off on delivery
  • Working closely with business stakeholders to review the level of benefits realisation of the project, undertake project completion reviews, capturing and sharing lessons learned
  • It is essential you have experience of the software development lifecycle and worked on large complex enterprise technology projects / programmes.
