Project Manager (Change Management - Life & Pensions) - Birmingham - 6 months

A Project Manager with change management experience from a Life Insurance and Pensions sector background is required to join a financial services client in Birmingham on an initial 6-month assignment.

The role

  • You will be working within a fast-paced change team to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Accountabilities

  • Leading the delivery of a change project to achieve all the client's objectives on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring the client's change governance processes and controls are followed.
  • Planning the project delivery effectively and efficiently by following the client's planning standards.

Key skills

  • Hands-on end-to-end Project Management experience, working on medium to large projects.
  • Extensive experience of delivering change projects for clients in the life and pensions sector.
  • In-depth understanding of project delivery with a solid approach to tracking project benefits
  • An ability to work independently to define and achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent key stakeholder and third-party management.
  • An ability to drive organisational change
  • Experience of working with project software and office productivity tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A Project Management certification will be advantageous.
