This role is available as the company is expanding.The role.You will support the business in managing projects for the benefit of the business and multiple client groups. Business is conducted with UK central Government, blue chip commercial clients, MoD entities and overseas customers and will be carried out operating in a matrix organisation. Influence the business, clients and internal teams at all levels to increase business effectiveness.Challenges:This is a key role in the winning and delivery of contracted outputs to our customers which requires a project manager with a 'can do' attitude to bidding, delivery and stakeholder management, combined with the ability to meet challenging deadlines, whilst remaining balanced under pressure. Some of our projects are heavily engineering biased and include significant proportions of systems engineering, software and firmware development, test and integration, as well as juggling resources, international sub-contractors and customers.Key Accountabilities.You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of positive engagement with project customers, partners and suppliers.You will deliver project outputs, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales).You will be ensuring project members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirementsYou'll be responsible for the maintenance of forecasts (both financial and resource demand signal) for sales and delivery which reflects the up-to-date expectations for the work.You will be reporting progress to the Programme ManagerThe Fit.You need experience managing a range of projects across either Software, Hardware or infrastructure.You need strong stakeholder management skills, able to work with a variety of individuals from technical staff to senior management.You need the ability to maintain project documentation and ensure information provided is accurate and relevant.To Apply If you're ready to apply, fantastic!
