Project Manager - Fixed Term Contract - London

Organisational Context:

Our client is a television advertising services company owned by commercial television broadcasters. Its roles include providing pre-clearance of TV commercials to ensure that they meet the requirements of the BCAP Television Advertising Standards Code (BCAP Code) and providing advice on commercials that appear in and around Video on Demand (VoD) programmes to ensure they meet the requirements of the British Code of Advertising, Sales Promotion and Direct Marketing (CAP Code).


The Project Manager's role is to manage a number of different IT/System projects based around Clearcast's services. Reporting directly to the CTO; the project manager will ensure all stakeholders (internal and external) are engaged with projects from definition & scoping through to implementation and hold to account when necessary. The project manager may also be asked to contribute to but not manage other projects.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Knowledge of: APIs & Systems Interfaces and Cloud Storage and Infrastructure Technologies (including IaaS & Saas)
  • A relevant project management qualification (e.g PRINCE2 or similar)
  • Previous experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experienced working with 3rd party system providers
  • Good understanding of multiple development methodologies
  • Experience of Broadcast Video transmission & delivery and UK Avertising work-flows and advantage

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Taking Overall lead and responsibility for a number of projects simultaneously including:
    • Product/Project Ownership
    • Definition and Scoping
    • Business Analysis
    • Planning
    • Documentation
    • Risk Analysis
    • Research
    • Testing
  • Working with CTO & team and contributing to other projects

Any other duties as reasonably required.
