Project Engineer- £45,000-55,000- Holmes Chapel - Relocation Package Included

A leading Pharmaceutical manufacturer are looking to bring in an experienced Project Engineer to join their team based in Cheshire on a permanent basis.

The role will be to provide project engineering services for facilities and equipment project as assigned.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Provide an effective comprehensive project engineering service for assigned capital investment projects
  • Manage contract engineering staff as required by each project
  • Manage construction activities and oversee commissioning activities.
  • Ensure negotiations with third party Companies meet the site's business requirements.
  • Ensure that the required standard of cGMP and EHS are anticipated, implemented and maintained for all areas of responsibility.
  • Promote and generate continuous improvement projects and initiatives including engineering systems and ways of working.

Qualification/ Skills & Attributes:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a Pharmaceutical/Cosmetics/Food Engineering environment
  • Sound understanding of change control processes and the importance of GMP.
  • Have a recognised Degree or equivalent in a Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering biased subject.
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Strong practical and technical problem solving and decision-making skills.
