About the role
Here at Babcock International we have an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer to operate as part of a team working on planned and unplanned projects with the value of up to £5M. All projects will be submarine specific with varying durations up to a maximum of 10 months.
All projects are expected and will be delivered within time, cost and quality to maintain fleet operational capability.
As a Project Engineer you will provide full project guidance and ensure that maintenance plans are developed and agreed as the overall work package evolves.

What do I need to do the role?
You must have a Mechanical or electrical biased HNC as a minimum requirement. We would also like you to have some of the following:

  • Project Management skills and qualifications
  • Great communication skills with the ability to speak with stakeholders at all levels
  • Engineering background with experience working on Submarines desirable

What else do I need to know?
This role is based at HM Naval Base Clyde, located 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland. We are well placed for commuter links to Glasgow and the wider region, with easy access for car and public transport.
